Public Policy Internship

Job Description: 

The Association of Global Automakers is seeking a paid communications intern to work 25 hours per week for the semester in our Washington, DC office (1050 K St, NW, Suite 650). Applicants must have excellent writing and research skills, experience using social media, and an interest in public policy and communications.   

The successful applicant will work directly with the Global Automakers team.  Activities may include:

  • Monitoring the news, blogs and social media sources for auto industry developments
  • Analyze automotive sales and vehicle data  
  • Creating power points
  • Conduct internet researching related to issue areas
  • General administrative duties as required 
Qualifications: 

Applicants must have excellent writing and research skills, experience using social media in a professional capacity, and an interest in public policy and communications.  This opportunity is only available to full-time or part-time students.
