Statement by John Bozzella, President and CEO, Global Automakers
WASHINGTON, DC, JANUARY 18, 2017 – “The California Air Resources Board’s decision to recommend no changes to its Advanced Clean Car program is questionable given an environment of historically low gas prices and stagnant demand for electric vehicles. We are committed to finding ways to spur market demand for green technologies and want to continue to work with California and other states on the challenges of the Zero Emission Vehicle mandate.”
The Association of Global Automakers represents international motor vehicle manufacturers, original equipment suppliers, and other automotive-related trade associations.
